I first heard the High and Mighty Band play at my own commissioning ball and then again when I worked at Sandhurst in 2013. I contacted Lance as soon as my girlfriend accepted my marriage proposal to ask if he could play at my wedding. I was worried that the band would be too big for my relatively small (85 guests) wedding party but Lance came up with an amazing set list and band set-up to exactly match what I wanted.
The result was a massive success and all my guests were on the dance floor from the first dance to the last anthem smashing it up with Lance at the helm. He even let me join in for one of the songs, let my wife do ‘Rockeoke’ and learned a new German rock/trance song to impress my Bavarian guests! The band’s sound engineers took care of the roving mic for the speeches and set up a bespoke sound system to play our first dance song from an Ipod. We connected my laptop to the band’s PA system to play our own Spotify playlist after the band finished and it sounded awesome.
I would most highly recommend the High and Mighty Band for any party, big or small! Alice and I are really grateful we booked such a professional band to rock the party for us and we had the most amazing night! Thank you Lance and the guys!!!!

The Officers’ Mess at Sandhurst engaged the High and Mighty Band for our Summer Ball. From the outset Lance and his crew were extremely professional – as a veteran of the Commissioning Ball which the band has played many times, they knew exactly what was required – both from a set up/liaison point of view, and musically on the night! They were easy to deal with, with no surprises. Their sound crew were punctual, polite, professional – and tidy! And the whole thing ran perfectly to the timings we asked for.
Most importantly of course was the music itself – which was nothing short of superb. They played a wide range of genres, ensuring the dancefloor was always full – with everyone from the youngest officer there, to the Commandant, complimenting us on our choice of band. They invited people up on stage, and really involved everyone in the show. They were flawless musicians and really knew how to entertain.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any such future function.
